Samurai what? Samurai girls!

Hellllllooooo! It's me again! Nope, nothing so special this time. Just an ordinary samurai anime, with tons of action, drama, comedies, girls, ecchiness, ....... wait. Seems strange? Nope. Just your feeling. Ohoho. Well, seeing is believing.... Its an all female cast samurai anime with a lot of action and brush stroke graphic and a whole splattering of censored ecchi! Its.....  Hyakka Ryōran Samurai Girls!

Jube Yagyu: A girl with two personalities. A moe one and a cool one....

The series takes place in an alternate version of Japan called Great Japan, in an alternate timeline where the Tokugawa shogunate remained active and has remained isolated from the rest of the world. The story takes place at Buou Academy, an academy located at the base of Mount Fuji where children of military families train to become samurai warriors. The academy is in the middle of a power struggle between Yukimura Sanada and Matabei Goto of the Toyotomi faction and the powerful student council that rules the school, and Muneakira Yagyu, the owner of the Yagyu Dojo, and the mysterious Jubei Yagyu are dragged in the middle of the conflict.

The series features famous historical figures from Japan's Sengoku period and early Edo period. The character Charles d'Artagnan also comes from the same age in Europe.

Yukimura Sanada: Yep, a little tsundere girl with an adult clothes.

Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Girls continues much as it started – with plenty of samurai schoolgirls mysteriously eager to shed their clothes in battle, all in the best possible taste of course.

The anime itself seems to have suffered an encounter with Ika Musume ( you know what I mean), and come off the worse for it – the good bits have all been splattered with ink. Well, who cares, we watch anime because of the stories, not the fanservice right? ( seriously?).

Kanetsugu Naoe: A powerful but still, a cutie girl.

The anime is overall great, but the ending could have been better. Nevertheless, it is quiet enjoyable, and a recommended anime to watch if you haven't so.

Highschool of the Dead OVA: Drifters of the Dead!

Hello there! It's..... zombie time! Wait, what? Zombie? Where? I can't see them! Oh! Well, ok, only a little. But hey, look there! Fanservice! Yay!

He sure enjoys being 'attacked' by the zombies.....

If you're looking for an add-on to 2010's all-breast soft-porn material that was High School of the Dead then look no further as I can gladly recommend this short OVA which is titled H.O.T.D: Drifters of the Dead. Drifters of the Dead DOES NOT add to the story. It DOES NOT continue from where they last left off in the TV series. What it does give us is a short clip of the cast being drifted to an island where we get to see more breasts jiggle then a tub of jelly.

This is not for children to watch!

The group comes to an island where they're supposedly safe from the zombies.. typical, right? In this scenario, you would expect to see, a la the conclusion of Dawn of the Dead, that there would be zombies where they had hoped to escape, but zombies play no part in this episode. Okay. They play a very, very, very small part toward the end. But that is okay, right? The story is unpredictable, funny, simple, and I'm 99% sure that you will never expect the ending.

Feed them with what?

Why did I enjoy this? Because it was amazingly humorous. And there were boobs. And despite having no character development, no real plot, and  this was very enjoyable, leaving me wondering what I just watched.
