Anime for all of NisiOisin's Monogatari Novels "Oficially Green-lit"

It has been officially announced that all of NisiOisin's Monogatari novels will eventually have an anime adaptation. Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari director Akiyuki Shinobo has expressed interest in animating all of the Monogatari novels. The first NisiOisin Anime Project works were Bakemonogatari, Katanagatari, the recent Nisemonogatari and the upcoming Kizumonogatari film.

Bakemonogatari follows the story of Koyomi Araragi who encounters various girls that were possessed different spirits such as mythological beasts, ghosts and gods while Nisemonogatari is a sequel that focused on Araragi's sisters. Katanagatari, on the other hand, follows the story of Yasuri Shichika, a swordsman that fight without a sword. He and Togame have to travel around Edo-era Japan to collect 12 legendary swords for the shogunate.

C2AGE W.O.W (Cosplay, Comic, Anime and Games Exhibition, World Of Wonder)

C2AGE W.O.W (Cosplay, Comic, Anime and Games Exhibition, World Of Wonder), was all about introducing the community to the amazing and enticing world of Japanese animation, American comics and a passion for gaming.

The central idea of C2AGE was to raise awareness and educate the general public, especially the youth, on the fundamentals of Cosplay, comics and anime. As it was their very first event, their aim was to make the event pleasant and enjoyable, never thinking of developing into an ACG event of huge proportions like Comic Fiesta.

With all kinds of performances to enjoy, competitions to enter, merchandises to buy, and also hearts and desires to fulfil, C2AGE event was held with the theme of "World of Wonders" (C2AGE : W.O.W.), at Tropicana Mall City on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of May 2012.

Malaysian Games & Comics Convention- MGCCon

The Malaysian Games & Comics Convention (MGCCon) aims to bring people the perfect blend between community and industry, for the comics, games and creative fields. The event started on 19th and 20th May 2012 at KDU University College (Damansara Jaya campus).

MGCCon is proud to have the FightSaber troop, Malaysia’s only light saber dueling group as part of their performances on stage. They also have the 501st Malaysian Legion “guarding” their visitors! There was digital art & many other demos, interviews and other fun activities on stage, even on the spot contests!

The Anugerah Pekomik 2012 finalists have the chance to have their work displayed during the convention. Famous cosplay/lifestyle photographer Jay Tablante will bring his hugely popular cosplay photography exhibition for display, for the 1st time in Malaysia!

Indie comics creators and game studios as well as retailers and various other companies also selling their wares and products and it is an amazing way to support the local industries and indie creators.

To Love-Ru Darkness OAD and TV Anime Series Green-lit

A TV anime adaptation of To love-Ru darkness has been confirmed. In addition to that, a special OAD of the series will be bundled together with the limited edition of the fifth volume of To Love-Ru Darkness. The OAD will adapt three bonus chapters of the series.

To Love-Ru Darkness is a continuation of Saki Hasemi's sci-fi harem comedy To Love-Ru, following the troubled life of Rito Yuuki as he deals with Lala, the alien princess of Deviluke, as well as several strange alien beings while trying to confess to the girl of his dreams. In To Love-Ru darkness, the story sees new characters and shifts its focus to Lala's sister, Momo, who is trying to complete Rito's harem with the series multiple female characters.

To Love-Ru Darkness currently has a total of 4 volumes released so far. The previous To Love-Ru manga had a serialization of 18 volumes which ran in 2006 and 2009. To Love-Ru also had a couple of anime adptations that ran in 2008 and 2009, as well as a number of game adaptations for the Nintendo DS and Playstation Portable.
