Take a closer look at the rock, and begin to fiddle with it. Put acid, scratch, touch, smell, taste; use all of your sense to make sense of the rock. That is one of the ways to become one with Mother Earth~

Now we get close and personal with the rock itself. They may look dull and all grey from afar, but up close, they will show a myriad of lithologies.
