Oreimo 2nd season confirmed!
The original television cast of Oreimo ( Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai) has announced that a second season of has been green lit. The series began as a series of light novels that were published in 2008 that is currently still ongoing. It is also had a number of manga and games adaptations. In 2010, a 12-episodes anime adaptation was aired. There was also an original net animation that added more episodes to the series in 2011.
Oreimo follows the story of Kyousuke Kosaka, a typical 17-year-old high school student who does not get along well with his younger sister, Kirino. One day, Kyousuke is surprised to find a hidden eroge that belonged to his sister. Kirino soon reveals to her brother that she is a hardcore otaku with an extensive collection of moe and younger sister themed eroges. Kyousuke quickly becomes Kirino's confidant of her secretive hobby while helping her makes friends with people of similar interests and accepting herself for who she is.
