This time, we had the proper introduction of mineral girls in this series. Some people said that mineral girls started to appear after scientist managed to extract "the heart of minerals" from random rocks. Chances of them to appear is still very, very rare. Society is graduating began to accept them as well, and they are protected by law, so exploitation of their abilities without proper paperwork is highly illegal.
Who knows that more will appear in the future. After all, the Earth is a vast, giant ball of mineral in itself.
p/s: this is the fictional theme of this series, and while the mineral is real, the character itself is not.
